WH&S More Skills is a Registered Training Organisation (No.32365) accredited to provide training and assessment for licences to perform high risk work (LHRW) and other competencies. We service the construction, manufacturing, transport, energy and mining industries, providing formal training and assessment, refresher courses and verification's of competency as well as on-site and off-site training solutions.
WH&S More Skills commenced operations in 1995 and is an amalgamation of WH&S Training & Assessment Services Pty Ltd (acquired 2010), More Skills Australia (acquired 2013), Koolat Safety (acquired 2015) and Lifting Skills (acquired 2016).
Our operations are built around our extensive Training Calendar of public courses. Our aim is to deliver a quality product providing an outcome which, not only results in a nationally recognised unit of competency, but also positively impacts safe attitudes and behaviours in the workplace. We pride ourselves on a quick and seamless booking and invoicing process, quality training with all appropriate equipment and a turnaround of paperwork within two business days. Services include formal training and assessment, refresher courses and verifications of competency. For the convenience of our corporate clients, we also offer onsite training, as well as group booking options. Both options provide the advantage of being able to choose the course dates that are suitable for the employer and your employees.
Licences to perform high-risk work include Dogging, Rigging, Bridge & Gantry crane (CB), Mobile cranes, Tower crane, Vehicle Loading crane, Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, Scaffolding, Swing Stage Scaffold (User & Installer) and Materials Hoist. Other competencies include Working Safely at Heights, Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres, Operate Breathing Apparatus, Earthmoving, Gantry or Overhead crane (RII), Telehandler, EWP Yellow Card, White Card and Traffic Controller.
All trainers employed with WH&S More Skills have extensive industry experience and have worked in the area of high-risk work in which they train and assess. In addition, each trainer holds the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) and most are WHSQ accredited assessors. Our trainers have a wide range of experience in industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, entertainment as well as the communications industry.
